    November 15, 1963 - February 27, 2023
    Alexandria, Minnesota - Jonell Ann Rapp was born on November 15, 1963, in Belleville, Illinois to John and Charlene (Ady) Hucke. She graduated from Belleville High School.
    On April 8, 1989, Jonell was united in marriage to Mark Rapp at his parents' home in Shiloh, Illinois. The couple made their home in Belleville and were blessed with two children, Matthew and Beth. Jonell was an involved and nurturing mother that would often volunteer at the kids' school to help with classroom events and recess. As the children grew older, she began working as an in-home caregiver for seniors.
    In October of 2016, Mark and Jonell moved to Alexandria, Minnesota, where she continued her work in home care for Alternative Senior Care. Jonell loved the outdoors, gathering with family and friends, fishing, boating, and camping.
    Jonell passed away on Monday, February 27. 2023, at Alomere Health in Alexandria, MN at the age of 59. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Rapp of Alexandria, Minnesota; children, Matthew (Alyssa Schmidt) Rapp of Wordan, IL, Beth (Summer Kurtz) Rapp of Belleville, IL; grandchild, Summer Skye Rapp; siblings, Michelle Espenlaub of Fowlerville, MI, Pete Ricci of Edwardville, IL, Toni (Morris) Pace of Boiling Springs, SC, Susan (Craig) Anderson of Belleville, IL, and Carolyn (George) Beatty of Glencoe, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jonell is preceded in death by her parents, John and Charlene Hucke; and Norbert and Roberta Rapp, father and mother-in-law.
    A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in Belleville, IL.
    Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home.
